CO 9 Wildlife and Safety Improvements
Between mile posts 126 and 137 of CO 9 there had been many traffic collisions caused by wildlife attempting to cross the road. This is a popular area for the local wildlife, due to amount of feeding grounds and watering holes. We partnered with CDOT and Kirkland Construction to create five wildlife crossings as well as fencing to keep the local wildlife away from the highway.

- Average Annual Daily Traffic: 3,100 - 3,600
- 11 mile stretch near Kremmling and Silverthorne now has 5 underpasses and 2 overpasses for wildlife
